Parsley Hollow now uses state of the art nanotechnology processing to mix our oil and water ingredients.

Oil and Water don’t mix naturally. They require assistance from an additional ingredient called an emulsifier. Natural emulsifiers are hard to find and not completely effective. In order to maintain our commitment to natural or organic ingredients and processes, we now have our essential oils combined with water using a unique, proprietary but still natural nanotechnology process.

Nanotechnolgy is the control of matter on a scale smaller than 1 micro-milimeter (1 billionth of a meter).  The term nanotechnology is an umbrella for all of the technology of submicroscopic particles. For our purposes, it turns tiny particles into very, very tiny and very uniform ones!

This very small, uniform particle size provides several real advantages for your pet:

1. The smaller particles get through the forest of hair reaching more hair shafts and folicles than larger particles can.
2. The smaller particles also reach the skin more readily and the beneficial oils are absorbed quicker and more completely.
3. Somewhat magically, our Insect Repellent oils can be made to actually stay ON the skin much longer before being absorbed, which extends the useful life considerably. This is really bad news for biting bugs.
